I use Revit to open this Family. They are only 1 model. I can not add material to cabinet and bench seperately. I think the only way to do that would be to export 2 rfa files, though I am speaking as someone who only marginally knows Revit but from the Inventor side that is the only workflow I know that can do that.
We are currently working on some other workflows to do what you are wanting in later releases of Inventor. In this case, they just show cabinet Material file. If I want add Material to Bench. I have to come back Bench Family. This workflow is not good. Because in real life, we have not only 2 part, but alot of parts. You may have to remodel the rfa in Revit for now if you want more control over the materials.
As I mentioned this is an area that we are currently working on but I can't talk much about it on a public forum. If you want to learn more feel free to join with the link I shared below.
